Promise incoming stock with confidence.
Inbound ETA connects supplier shipments, variant-level preorder capacity, customer dispatch promises, order allocation and delay communication inside Shopify.
Installed merchants launch the embedded app from Shopify Admin → Apps → Inbound ETA.
What Inbound ETA does
The app sits between a supplier shipment and the customer waiting for it, so a date that moves upstream reaches the order and the buyer instead of being discovered at dispatch.
- Record incoming stock. Log supplier shipments against a variant with the quantity ordered and the date it is expected, so the shop can see what is already on its way.
- Control preorder capacity. Set how many units of a variant may be sold before arrival, so a delayed container does not quietly turn into oversold orders.
- Allocate orders as stock lands. Match eligible Shopify orders to an incoming shipment and keep the queue, and the reason behind each allocation, visible.
- Promise a dispatch date. Show the date an order is expected to leave, taken from the shipment it is allocated to rather than one fixed guess applied to everything.
- Communicate changes. When a shipment moves, send affected customers a merchant-authorised update and keep a record of what was sent and when.
Dispatch dates are merchant-supplied estimates and are not guarantees by Fleeta Limited.
